Still trying to get hold of some 'in-date' Johnsons anti- mite spray. I have been offered the Johnsons pigeon insect spray (extra) but I don't really know what the difference is between this and the other caged birds spray, there must be some difference or surely they wouldn't have two products. Can anyone enlighten me so I get the right product?

I use the mite and lice one, I dont know what the difference is though

Regency Poultry sent me the mite and lice one for caged birds but it was out-of-date, they had to refund me as they said they were unable to source it any more. (The date was Feb 2010).

You should be able to get in date 150ml spray cans of Johnson's Anti Mite. The 100ml has not been manufactured for a while but the 150ml can is OK.

Ok, thank you, i'll look for those then. Wonder why Regency Poultry can't get that?

It was withdrawn for a brief period last year - I thin they were re-wording the labelling. The active ingredient is permethrin, so any of the others which contains that will work just as well.
