Domestic fowl trust

we have been there a couple of times, have never bought any chooks from there (always bought from wernlas in ludlow) but they have always been very helpful and the prices are good for chicken keeping stuff. I always remember one of the cockerals chasing my oh half off!!:lol: which reminds me we must go back there

it is a lovely day out :D will be going back there in the spring

We've bought pullets from there before now - nice healthy girls, two of which are still going strong (other one was foxed). OH picked me up some new feeders and drinkers last week too, but I've never had anything delivered from them. Our second hand house is from there too - I have to say, it's falling apart! It was obviously well built, and looked after, but the wood is pretty much crumbling to pieces. Shame, as it's very pretty.

I've been there and it was very interesting. They have a shop with so much chook stuff, it was fascinating! We did buy a bag of ex batts pellets from there which we got home and realised would be out of date in less than a week. They are quite a way from us so would have cost more in fuel to return it. I did e-mail the manufacturers who said it would be safe to use for a short while but the quality of the nutrients wouldn't be as good (they sent me a money off voucher which was very kind of them). Lesson learnt now -I always check the date before buying.
