The Dogmother
I learned something new at the weekend..... My mobile kept telling me that the 'memory card wasn't formatted', I panicked as I thought that I'd lose all my contacts as well as the downloaded ring tones and photos I had on it. Turns out that it has a tiny micro SD memory card as well as the SIM - it is the former which has corrupted, so although I have lost the ringtones and photos, the contacts are safe *phew*. I'm not due an upgrade until August and can live with it until then, but I have been through all the old phones at home to see if any of them have a micro SD (they don't ) I am annoyed as I have lost a couple of lovely photos of Rosie which I foolishly forgot to download onto the pooter Now can't use it to take photos and the downloaded ringtones have gone I can't get over how something the size of my middle finger nail can hold 1gb of data

chickencam
My OH is definitely an Angry Birds addict i go to sleep every night to the sound of a catapults and smashing things He stuck on a level at the moment and is sulking. You presumably could get another micro SD card to replace the corrupted one, the 1G ones are quite cheap I think. It is a shame about the photos, that is the problem with digital photos. You have reminded me to connect up my hard drive and download the ones from this computer.
The Dogmother
I think I may get another card, they are only a couple of quid. Apparently you get an adaptor with them that converts it to the same size as a regular SD card so that it fits in a reader slot; I might try that and see if I can read it in the pooter.
