Ygerna
Can anyone help me out? I've not been well for a few weeks now, severely lacking in energy and my get up and go has gone into hibernation. I have not done any crafting for weeks and its starting to get me down. So, anyone got any superfast, super easy, super cheap craft ideas to kick start my enthusiasm at all? TIA

Plum
Well I've been making some decorative heart decorations. Rewarding and quick to do. Cut out 2 heart shapes in fabric. I used some plain furnishing type fabric and decorated with ribbon and buttons. Join together and stuff. You could put lavendar inside. Bit of ribbon to hang, dead easy and fun. Sorry you've not been well
Fourbecameeight
Sorry that you’re not well. I have been making scorched flowers to put on headbands but you could use them as a brooch. There is a tutorial here http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/simple-scorched-fabric-flowers But they are very easy, cut several circles out of any synthetic fabric, melt the edges slightly to give a puckered effect. Layer up several circles and hand sew, add a bit of sparkle in the middle and you’re done.

Sorry you've not been well Yes, they are great to make and if you can fill them with lavender and hang them on doors, every time you brush against them you get the smell of lavender......fabric bunting is also pretty quick. Felting is great for instant gratification if you are working on a small item.......you can make a scarf in an afternoon or a mobile phone holder or whatever... Ygerna
Thanks for the ideas, some to get me crafting again. Managed to do some quick stuff today. My DD is 7 on Friday, and for party bags I've got cotton bags, which this morning, I have put the childrens names on in puffy paint

I visited a charity shop before picking the children up from school this afternoon. Got a couple of lovely scarves to use for the scorched flower project
