Tiggy
we in the nhs dont often get too much praise but when it comes it makes everything worthwhile. I got a letter at home today froma lady I looked after a while ago, who had a very bad chest & short of breath. She is now a lot better having had heart surgery & wrote to thank me not too many people bother but it made my day

quickcluck
Oh how lovely. It's great when they let you know that you actually made a difference. Unfortunatley we normally only hear about the bad stuff..... great to be apprieciated!
Ain't Nobody Here
How lovely . I'm sure there are loads of grateful patients out there, they just don't think to put it in writing .
Saronne
You're very right, and as an NHS worker, I'm guilty of not putting pen to paper when I've had really good service. It's really important to give people good feedback, preferably in writing, when they've been especially helpful or gone that extra mile...
