Unsecure chicken perches

We have been given a beautiful White leghorn cockeral who has settled in very well with the girls. I think I know the answer to this... But is it ok to use the eggs if they might be fetilised. I broke an egg this morning and there was some blood in it?

They are fine, you quite often get eggs with bloodspots even without a cockerel.

Nearly all our eggs are fertile. You do sometimes get blood spots anyway, without them being fertile. It's a lot of work forcing an egg out!

Don't worry they are fine to eat!
