coco Posted April 6, 2011 Share Posted April 6, 2011 Ex batt Lily is poorly again, she has had a good three weeks in between bouts of not being herself. Underneath feels quiet swollen compared with the other hens and she is not eating. She took herself to bed at 6. 15 and looks very sorry for herself, she also had a very mucky behind which I cleaned up [they were wormed last week]. I will take her to the vets tomorrow but am not expecting a good outcome, I think it may be kinder to have her PTS. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lillybettybabs Posted April 7, 2011 Share Posted April 7, 2011 It is very sad , My Lily had it, I gave her a go with some antibiotics as she seemed to want to fight it, I think deep down i knew she would get it again even if she did pull through. She has been up and down for several months now, I'll just keep an eye on her for now. I won't let her suffer when her time comes though. Bless her.
