Henergy
Another WIR question - my mind is racing tonight !! I was initially going to use hardwood chips on the floor so that I could hose them through, then changed my mind to hemcore / aubiose. My question is, even with a roof & a side of tarpaulin, will the run still not get damp if its windy & rainy in winter (and so make the aubiose smell) or are you meant to fully tarpaulin it ? Or am I over thinking & over worrying !!!
Plum
Yup but just have the tarps on the side of the weather. I check the bbc online weather forcast each day and raise and lower them according to the forcast. Sad but snug.
Egluntyne
I use old Aubiose bags to ' weatherproof' the side of my WIR. Costs nowt and is very effective, although I admit that it isn't exactly beautiful. http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=70501&p=1004584#p1004584
