Sageandonion
Spooks finally has a girlfriend . She is a seal point mini lop and we've named her Snowy. Whilst I don't think it's exactly love at first sight it's not daggers at dawn either! We picked her up on Sunday and they're sharing the same hutch with a wire mesh separating them. We've swapped them over every day so that they get used to each other's smell. Every now and then they sniff noses. Tomorrow will be their first date in our hall. Fingers crossed the path of true bunny love runs smoothly Edited April 13, 2011 by Guest

Sageandonion
The 1st date went well, they ignored each other for a bit then Spooks overcame his shyness and gave her a cuddle in the tunnel of love .

grracee
Oh, she's cute! Did you by any chance get her from Jen? I went there the other week and saw all the babies - they were all so lovely! Spooks is looking gorgeous, grown so much since the last photos of him!
Sageandonion
Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Beach Chick - Snowy was 9 weeks yesterday. Grace - Yes she is from Jen, so you would have seen her the other day. Spooks and Snowy have had their second date again tonight, in the hall. They seem quite relaxed in each other's company, neither are impressed with the slippery flooring so they snuggle together on a towel for comfort. Will give them two more dates on neutral territory and then try taking down the 'iron curtain' in the hutch. Fingers crossed they'll be ok. beach chick
awwww, so sweet when they are happy together. and so good for them too. I was reading something yesterday about a rabbit welfare campaign, "A Hutch is Not Enough". there are still too many people keeping buns in too small hutches, not having a run as well, and keeping a single bunny with no company...
