Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

We might take a mini break in a spa hotel in this area, any good eateries, pubs which are child friendly ( one eats adult portions one is still child) please please please. Many thanks

I'm not far away (about 20 mins south). can give you loads of suggestions for great days out within the area but will have to think about pubs, eateries etc.

 

do you know where you will be staying? and how far would you be prepared to drive for a meal? and how old is the littlie?

If you don't mind a short drive, Rye has lots of good restaurants - particularly a pasta/pizza one that I can't remember the name of and does child portions from the main menu. Also cobbled streets to explore and a harbour

 

Remembered - Simply Italian - been there loads of times, great family favourite very child friendly

Rye is GORGEOUS Scarlett, as is Tenterden and generally loads of nice eateries in both. not sure how old the littlie is tho, both are lovely for wandering/shopping etc though.

One of my aunts has just moved from Rye to Winchelsea, another lives in Tenterden
