KateH
Hi there, Just wondering if anyone has any laced Wyandottes? I saw a gold laced one when I was out recently and thought they looked amazing. I'd really love to get a gold and a silver laced one but don't know the best place to look. Does anyone know of any good breeders or places to look? Thanks! KateH
Hi, I'm in Lancashire but will travel throughout the north west. Thanks

Tweety
Hi, I am in the North West too, and got my gorgeous blue laced Wyandottes from the Wernlas Collection in Shropshire. It's a fair hike from here -almost 3 hours - but they will deliver if it's too far for you.
KateH
Lovely picture! It's large fowl I'm after. I've contacted Wernlas but they don't have the silver laced at the moment seems like a great place though so might get gold laced and maybe go on a waiting list for the silver. Tweety
Practical Poultry magazine contains a Breeder Directory which might help you. Just had a look, and there are 3 breeders in Lancs that have silver laced. Bridge Buffs 01254812033 Linda Burn 01772634889 or 07957220206 Rushton's 01282861444 Obviously, I don't know anything about these breeders or their stock but they might be worth a look at. If not, you could try the Laced Wyandotte Club. Wernlas is always worth a visit, even if you have to go on the waiting list for your chosen breed. dixie chick
Wernlas is absolutely miles away from you - but a couple of miles off junction 19 of the M6 is a lovely breeder called Jackie Mottram who breeds Silver Laced Wyandottes - her business is called 'Garden Hens'. I got all my girls from her and they have all been healthy and trouble-free. Either google it or I could probably find the number for you ..... Redwing
Linda Burn 01772634889 or 07957220206 . This was the one I found too, none of the breeders I actually know are from your part of the woods I am afraid! not as many people breed the gold laced, I have checked the breeders that showed bantams at the National show and none are near you. This chap is worth a try if you want large fowl, he has silver, cold and blue laced, he is a good breeder http://cheshirepoultry.co.uk/breed_profiles.html
