Live Natural Yoghurt - a very dim question

Recommended Posts

I think I have an ex-batt with sour crop so want some live natural yoghurt but am surprised by how many different sorts there seem to be - do I need one with probiotics, full fat, low fat etc? Which one do you all use?

Im wondering if Yakult or similar would be better?

Sorry, did warn you it was a dim question!

Yes, they love it to bits, in fact it gets flicked everywhere  just a 250g tub is fine with some Bokashi Bran mixed in. Also put ACV in the water.

I'd have a check around their environment as it is sometimes (but not always) caused by the crop not emptying properly - long grass will block it up.

Thanks for all that advice Claret ...

Realistically, what are her chances of recovery? She is much quieter today than yesterday, I have massaged her crop and it doesn't feel as squidgy as it did yesterday, but she really didn't want to eat anything this morning, not even the yoghurt :(
