A Night Of Fun & Frolics!

Recommended Posts

I am ridiculously excited  I'm helping to transport a trio of Wyandottes at the weekend, and as part of their journey they'll be staying overnight with me. I've been given permission to take advantage of the boy  I've never been able to hatch my own eggs, and all the while I'm living here having a cockerel isn't a possibility, but during his short stay he'll be entertaining a few of my ladies  Invited to the party will be Poppy (very dark eggs), Robin (blue eggs), Tiger (white eggs) and Anne of Cleeves (green eggs) so I'll know in the days afterwards which eggs to use.

The plan is to pop them into the incubator just before I go on holiday and with any luck by the time I return I'll have a broody who can take over if any of the eggs are fertile.

Lets hope he takes a shine to my lucky ladies and that they're on their best behaviour

Cor he was a stunner! And so well behaved too. I didn't hear a peep out of him, so much so I was worried he might be dead this morning :lol: Robin & Poppy wanted to kill him and had no interest in being his girlfriends, Hob"Ooops, word censored!" was terrified, Anne of Cleeves ignored him but Tiger is in love! She utterly adored him, they spent hours cooing in each others ears, dancing and feather ruffling  She couldn't understand why the other ladies weren't interested in the visiting hunk
