Sam
They look lovely!! Have they been making much noise yet? Are ducks supposed to lay every day, or does it vary with breed? I'd love ducks one day
Snoxy
The girls only quack if they are anxious....otherwise are quiet I have had 2 eggs every day since we got them...I discovered 5 days in that some eggs were completely hidden under the straw...so I now put on my rubber gloves every morning and search Not sure about other breeds and their laying habits Maybe someone else could help you with that question They are a delight and no trouble at all...they have been mixing with the hens and are getting easier to put into the Eglu at night... Every day they are becoming less shy
