got chickens now...turkeys

Recommended Posts

I've had three.

Cheryl was a hugeee Norfolk turkey hen, we rescued her from being dinner. She lived with 2 miniature silkies when she was broody, and sat on them..

Then i had another two, a lot smaller, crazy, flighty things. I had a bad experience with mixing these turkeys with the hens, wouldn't do it again. :(

Can anyone remembe or that pet Dr Who Turkey we saw at Acorn Nursery was with chooks or not? I can't

The person I got my tiny frizzle from however had lots of different breeds of chook including banty Sussex and Naked Necks all free ranging with three rescue Norfolk turkeys. It was really sweet as the Naked Necks looked like baby turkeys

No, it was with another Turkey in the pen, possibly two, but not with any other chickens.
