HennyPenny
I was told that there really wasn't any alternative for me other than hysterectomy - they were talking about trying a Mirena when I had a hysteroscopy but when they 'got in there' it really wasn't an option. It actually took them quite a while (by my reckoning) for them to decide that what I had wasn't actually cancer after all, so in the end, I was glad to have it 'all taken away' just so I could be absolutely certain! Funnily enough, I've been on the hysterectomy forum since this all started at Christmas time and one of the first people I saw was Snowy, so I assumed the forum must be good if there were Omleteers on there.....I should have known there was no substitute for Omlet!! Feeling much more positive today - thanks to you lovely ladies
The Dogmother
They spent years faffing about with my innards too - made things far worse and even botched one op which left me bleeding internally I got fed up with being passed from pillar to post and no-one really knowing what the problem was. In the end I lost my rag and insisted that they took it all out.
