Raina
Thanks everyone. Just to let you all know, Connor landed safely. They were supposed to jump at 1pm but he couldn't till about 6:45 as it's been raining.

chickenNutter
Phew! Waited to hear everything was Ok before sharing that I broke my back in 12 places when my parachute did not open completely on my first jump, and I landed on the runway like the proverbial splodge of strawberry jam. Complete miracle that I wasn't either killed or paralysed (guess my gaurdian angels were on patrol that day). Can't say I recommend doing anything potentially dangerous to raise money for charity, as the nurse that wheeled me into Xray commented "You raise £200 for charity and it takes the NHS £2000 to put you back together again." Bit tactless at the time, but she had a point. Hats off to him though, it takes some guts. Relieved all went well.
