Henslaved Posted June 22, 2011 Share Posted June 22, 2011 After 12 days of getting my two bantam girls, my OH rang to tell me that Scoot has laid our first bantam egg , (of course the egg dance was completely necessary , I was at work at the time and got a few strange looks ) And what a whopper from such a little lady, Scoot isn't much bigger than a pigeon Compared with Rosies' eggs (she's an ISA Brown) If you're reading Redwing, you were right about the egg colour and after doing a little research you were also right about the breeding , I think she is more dutch bantam than welsummer bantam but I love her just the same .
