witzend
OK - everything happens tomorrow and, despite thinking I'd everything under control, I've had a thought............. my bantams are only 8-10 weeks old - are the grub/glugs going to be too big/deep? Should I put feed/water in the little hanging pots until they're a bit bigger?
Redwing
the grub should be ok, just make sure its low enough for them The Glug is a bit of a gamble, they can easily get in to danger trying to reach down for water, I'd use coop cups or a chick drinker until they are big enough to safely lean in to the Glug
Egluntyne
I agree.
Space Chick
Same here, mine use a grub fine but have a more traditional drinker
witzend
good job I asked!! What sort of drinkers have you found work best? - not sure the little hook on dishes would hold enough?
Chicken Kitty
Our youngest Sussex bantam is 10 weeks and manages just fine with the grub and glugs As I'm still a novice with these things I can't really comment on how an 8 week old would manage!
