witzend
I seem to remember people posting about how to wedge over the Eglu door so that the hens can come out when they're ready.............can't find it now!!! Please could people let me know what they use for the CLASSIC swing door - everything I've tried fails!!!
Ain't Nobody Here
You could put a garden cane down through the top of the run to hold the door open.
witzend
nope - WIR will have polycarb solid roof and it's 8ft high!!
keyhole kate
Would you need to close the door if inside a WIR
witzend
possibly not - the supplier is currently locking her babies up (coop in outside runs) cos it's quite chilly at night and they're still quite small. I need to find something quite hard - block of wood? - and reasonably big .....I've tried various dog toys and they don't work!
witzend
A-HA! I've found a chucky stick I used to use with my geckos and it fits in the groove under the door, nicely wedging it half open. I'll start with this and see how they get on
