AlisonH
I'm new to this chicken game and when I was shutting up my 2 tonight I opened the back of the EGLU to see them, I discovered that they were both cuddled up in the corner together but laid across the bars and not perching. Is this normal?
Egluntyne
Yes, many prefer not to perch. They move about a bit and you might find them perching later on.
sjp
I've got 4 -20+ week old pulletts that will happily use the perches in the big girls run but sleep on the floor of their own house and my 2 1/2 year old columbian black tail hasn't slepted on a perch for more than about 10 days in the last 18 months
