Recommended Posts

Well i now have 3 new ladies that have joined me today :D mop a 1 year old silkie , jelly and bean 4 week old peeking frizzle girls finaly a (pink eglu) is on its way and also a walk in run  sooooooo not telling the other half what its all cost but they are so adorable ,

jelly and bean are in together as they are so tiny and mop took herself off to bed in the (purple eglu) with the others  she got a peck from poppy ( who wll be returning to the breeder this weekend ) and after 2 min they all sunbathed on the grass togerther .

So after building a mock home all day for her it was not needed and all the stress fell away , so so happy but i need the cure please

O and yes pics will be added tomorow i think a camera pointed at them would have been a little to much so soon hehe please forgive .

I must be bad as ive been trying to figure out ways to make the garden bigger with the rest of the space i have on the outside thats not being used and ive been walking around with a tape measure today looking at where the walk in run will go .

i have a HUGE space at the side of the house thats a extra large dog run i was thinking of using some of this but its abit closer to the neabours so i may do this once i have the other wir at the end of the garden and plan a HUGE one :oops::oops: HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP HAHA

I love the names you have given them. Is mop the little black Silkie? You seem to have a little blue / grey girl with a top knot there too? Is she a silkie? I really covet a blue silkie and have even managed to persuade OH that should one accidentally ( :liar: ) come my way . . . . I can keep her. I'm on the hunt

Love Jelly and Bean. So cute. I have a frizzle pekin but would love a Silkie and a Maran. Hope you don't mind me asking but why is Poppy going back to the breeder?

Not at all , Im not allowed to cause a noise problem with the contract on the house and dont want to risk my neabours getting upset with all the hens if i try to keep a male and poppy is 100% boy so they have said they will take him back .

Im upset about it as he is so funny and friendley but going back to the breeder is by far the best solution for him than other options .

Ill also have to rehome the orange silkie cross as he is also male but it will be harder as he was hatched and the person who said they would have him has now said they carnt so still in ponders of what to do ,unfortunatley a trip to the vets in a few months time seams the kindest thing .

Mop is the large black hen and what a funny one she is  talk about having a personality .....

Fransis is the small grey silkie she was hatched from a white bearded silkie egg  but sheis adorable and fully holds her own with the others im dreading how bossy she will be fully grown .

Also good luck with your hunt hopeone wanders intothe garden soon
