Redwing
Thats Tylan injectible, its great stuff and a vet can inject that if you take the chook to one Tylan soluable can be administered at home, again the vet can supply this No one should supply antibiotics to other people - its like asking someone to share their prescription drugs If you think the hen is seriously ill then the vet is the best bet If you dont think she is bad but need advice then try to give some detail on her symptoms and see if anyone here has any suggestions
Chucky Mama
http://www.discountedpetproducts.net/TYLAN_50_100ML-UKP110642.html heres the link Tylan is a prescription only medication and anyone selling it without a prescription is not only doing it illegally but is also likely to be selling fake or imported stock from the Far East. If you are concerned, you should visit a vet with her. Edited to add: That website is not UK based and postal charges for Tylan are approx £20 without taking into account that if opened at UK customs this item will be confiscated and destroyed in line with UK medicines regulations. Chucky Mama
I don't quite understand why you are so anxious to give her Tylan, what is she doing and what indication is there that she has a bacterial infection?
johnandkymberley
well she was wheezing and breathing very deeply etc HOWEVER, quite a strange thing happened today, she went to lay an egg, then came out and laid a yolk then a soft shell after the yolk...then she was back to normal! same bossy laelia etc strutting around like she owns the place! i did give them all some caynenne pepper treatment and that went down really well! so im happy with everything, i think i have been so protective of them all recently, with the new ones and such, my partner says im looking for things that are wrong!
