craftyhunnypie
Who will win? I'm hoping it's Tom or Susan. We really like Tom. Have totally gone off Helen - she loves herself & I'm not convinced she will shine at the interview. I think they will find flaws with her and Jim. Don't even get me started on Jim! He can sell because he has this gift of the gab, but he is sooo full of bull. Tom intrigues me & is a nice guy. Susan, a bit immature, but I think she has something - I wish the others wouldn't shout her down so much. Tom to win! Emma.x
Ain't Nobody Here
I still think Helen's in with a chance but Tom could well win too (who'd have thought that at the beginning ). Although Susan's improved, I still can't get over her unbelievably stupid comments all through the process . Jim is all talk and no substance and I'm sure will be shown as such in the interviews. OH has a sweepstake at work and his 3 are in the final . (Don't think they win anything for picking the winner though .)
squiffs
Tom or Susan would satisfy me - Helen has a stick up her bottom and Jim is a fart in a colander. when they did 'the final five' I thought it was so lovely how Tom had good things to say about everyone and how brilliant he thought they were - such a nice chap. Sam Palmer
I'd like Tom to win. He seems like such a nice chap.
Chucky Mama
I think it is Helen all the way. Tom is a sweetie but he needs to be tougher and more decisive to make a good partner for Alan Sugar I think. Susan, hmmm, maybe but again needs to follow through rather than getting trampled on. I have gone from wanting Jim to win to disliking him.
squiffs
I think Helen would win if this was an old series of the Apprentice but I think her business plan will probably be lacking - otherwise, like Lord Sugar said, why hasn't she gone on to do it herself already? She's a good employee but I don't think she'd make a good partner. Just because she is the PA to an exec does not mean she knows how to run a successful business, only that she knows how to aid someone who is, and that isn't a 50:50 partnership. I also didn't like how she was being towards Tom in the last task, she really thinks she's the reason her teams win, and on the last task she was the main reason they lost imo. craftyhunnypie
I totally agree Squiffs! Helen would have won if it was like usual. I didn't like how she corrected Lord Sugar about her job title! I think she will be ripped apart at the interviews. Or so I'm hoping ( little madame with stick up bottom). But what exactly is Helen's business plan? I think Tom will shock us with his ' toughness tonight. Save it all for the Final! Go Tom! Bramble
I'd like Tom to win 'cos he's such a nice guy, but sadly that's often not enough ... I fear Helen will take it (or maybe Susan?)
squiffs
But what exactly is Helen's business plan? a slave labour/maid service for workaholics with no time for having a life outside of work? very upper middle class bubble, I can see that taking off during a recession! gongladosh
I joined twitter on Friday (I'm linked in with a few Omleteers already) so I have been happily watching real-time tweets and chuckling away to the comments, particularly those from Rufus Hound and Bill Bailey... craftyhunnypie
Snotty moo isn't she? I've recorded the whole lot, so will be watching it soon. Got radio 2 on to try & avoid any announcements about it! Quite enjoying the 1950's music. I want a curved nail file that Tom's got up his sleeve! I'd also like to try some of Susan's skin care stuff! Emma.x
Chucky Mama
Yay, the right result. I am so glad that Helen didn't win in the end. Her business plan was rubbish and having a second crack with a different one was very naughty. Tom's best moment was telling how he got to the buyer of Walmart - genius. It's great for the nice guy to win for a change. Jim showed that he really didn't have anything to back up all that gift of the gab. I really missed the big final task where they bring the rejected contestants back though (or did I miss it )
Ain't Nobody Here
I'm really pleased Tom won . Helen was really disappointing in the end - what a rubbish business plan . Heard Tom on the radio this morning - he's just got engaged to (in his words) an engineer and geek . Is it just me, or was Jim's business plan similar in vagueness/unintelligibility to Melody's "global" business ?
