craftyhunnypie
I ordered another incy over the weekend. The new Rcom 20. New, because it no longer needs the humidity pads. Yay - will be sooo much easier. I'm hoping it will be here tomorrow - mind you won't be setting any eggs for a couple or so weeks though. But once we are at our new home, there will be no stopping me.. So what would you hatch? Emma.x
Griffin
That's the one I've got and I love it. It's unexpectedly got eggs in it at the moment because my broody cannot be trusted to sit nicely so I'm going to pop the chicks under her once they've hatched. She's sat on four clear eggs now but got off to a bad start fidgeting
Redwing
Lovely! I liked my RCom it was very good I have an Octagon 40 and an Octagon 20 at the moment but am planning to get an MS inccy to replace them in the autumn if I am not completely broke! In my inccy at the moment are Araucana, Polands, Belgian D'Anvers and Indian Runner ducks
craftyhunnypie
Wow Tasha lots more chicks soon then! I'm debating over what to hatch & want to do it soon before the colder months start. With this new rcom, the old one & the 2 minis - I could easily hatch loads Hubby has said I can use the big walk in pantry as the incubator room & for the brooder once hatched. Once they are too big for the guinea cage - then I'll rig up a few bigger brooder pens in the workshop next to the garage. What's your betting the two lavenders that have been broody for weeks, will suddenly not be broody when I need them. I'd like some welsummers I think, plus more silkies, pekins / frizzles, wyandottes, naked necks & maybe some bitzas from my hubby's mixed bunch. But that list constantly changes as I see so many that I'd like. Will be watching for any news of your hatchings. Good luck. Emma.x
Space Chick
I LOVE my RCom... I particularly like the icecream van tune it makes as it turns the eggs
craftyhunnypie
It's here. Have decided I really want some more silkies. I'll hatch a few of my own & get some black silkie eggs from a breeder. I really want a black silkie after seeing pics of Lewis's Cilla. I think the rest of the incy will be filled with pekin eggs & maybe some wyandotte bantam eggs. The pantry is going to be the incubator room.
