I noticed tonight that the leaves on my courgette plants are turning white. Help!

My courgettes have totally gone to pot. One day they were beautiful, next day they were shrivelled. Oh the joys of grow your own!

I snip mine off, and they are coming back into leaf and flower again. Apparently its something to do with it not being wet enough and then the leaves getting wet. Or something. Theres another topic about this in here somewhere
