rural Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 You used to be able to buy them in kit form (everything required was in one package) and on the canvas was the pattern painted on you just matched paint colour to wool colour and often the shop would have lots of samples so you could choose the one you wanted - am not sure if its the same now or you just buy a plain canvas and make your own pattern - they are very easy to do and when done are very hard wearing (or at least used to be !!) I really want to design it myself, as I know what colours I want to use Just worried I will get half way through and then realise I have missed some vital stage out in the preparation.
