feemcg
I have 16 chicks sleeping in an eglu at the moment - they are 4 weeks old tomorrow and theres plenty of room as they all huddle together. I leave the roosting bars out till 6 weeks though. I've got them sleeping on hemcore this time - the last couple of hatches were on straw but it got quite damp. At one point with the last hatch, I went out to check they'd all gone to bed and all 10 were in the nest box sleeping .
