chocchick Posted September 4, 2011 Share Posted September 4, 2011 We now have a bluebell and light sussex hybrid We hadn't wanted to replace our special Welsummer who died a year or so ago but nearly bought some chickens at the Bakewell show and decided we did actually want some more. They are as yet unnameless. My Sussex is pecking the bluebell on her beak. She seems quieter and smaller and OH was very attached and wouldn't change her even though we discovered she'd chipped a bit of beak off. chocchick Posted September 5, 2011 Author Share Posted September 5, 2011 They still don't have names as OH wanted to sleep on it It is a very big decision I think we have the names though but we do have my chicken and his chicken. Mine is the crazy white one, his is the calm normal Bluebelle. I will mix a bit later when I can watch them but the spent an hour complaining loudly outside the run.
