clucker1
We have 4 Omlet girls who are 18 month old. We now have 2 new girls a Bluebelle called Primrose and hybrid Rhode island x. The Rhode island called Crumble. We have had them now nearly 8 weeks. We have introduced them very very slowly. 3 weeks separated just looking at each other and then free ranging and now in the wir together. Primrose is the problem....she is very stupid and very scared!!! The other chickens know this and pick on her, but only a bit ie no blood drawn. I want to put them in all together overnight. Do I just go for it or do I wait a bit longer until Primrose is less scared? I was thinking about putting the newbies in at night when the others might be more receptive. Ain't Nobody Here
You'd probably be OK putting them together at night as they tend to be less aggressive when they're sleepy. I'd get up early though (or leave the door open for escape purposes!)
