After two weeks of having free range in the garden DH has put his foot down and said enough is enough I want a lawn again! :x So yesterday I spent the afternoon putting the classic and run back together and preparing for the winter months ahead. This morning I have 4 very cross girls trying to push open the run door and making a real racket :( Maybe I should have done it today so my neighbours could have a Sunday lie in

I have tried it in a square shape around the end of the run but they used the run as a staging post, then I put it in in a long straight stretch and clipped their wings so they then sort of sprung/jumped onto the netting balanced then jumped off in their defence they jumped back in again! One of them even managed to get through one of the larger squares in the netting!

Tell him they are great for turning over the soil ready for spring. I fence off the grass in winter and give them the borders and fence off the borders in spring so they have the grass.

Perhaps an extension for the run and sit it out until they get used to it. :?
