williamspencer98
Hi, I've been looking at the Poultry Club and they have not got the Orpingtons on their website at all? I thought Orpingtons were pure breeds? Anyway, pure breed or not, they're beautiful birds!
Chortle Chook
Orps are indeed a pure breed and come in both standard and bantam size though even a small one is a large lady I think you can get black and white ones as well as the more common buff. Others who are more knowledgeable may tell you of more colours.
mollyripkim
I have a silver birchen bantam orp, who I got by chance, she has beautiful black glossy feathers with White (silver around her neck). Just heard that you can get a chocolate version as well.

memphisto
Yes, they are a pure breed I have 2 chocolate bantam Orpingtons who arrived on Sunday and have a lovely nature, very cuddly and liking affection . I have two buff Orpingtons arriving at 2pm today as well. They are beautiful birds, as was mentioned already, the bantams are quite big, my two are as big as my white star girly. If you have a look at my thread 'My chocolate girls have arrived', there are some pictures on there of my bantams, I'mm post some of my new Orpingtons later on .
