Carpet shampooer

Recommended Posts

Not sure if anyone is after one for doing stairs, upholstery etc but I'm waiting for delivery of the Little Green Pet Machine from Bissell. It's down to £39.99 from £99.99 on Bissell Direct. I already have a Bissell Quickwash that we've had for years but can't do stairs etc with it.

Was delivered about half an hour ago :) Am not testing it tonight though lol Hope to get to try it out this weekend but we're replacing floorboards, then sanding the floor, varnishing and decorating plus recovering the dining room chairs. Good job DH and I are both off next week!

Just thought I'd post. Had a read and it looks as if the sample shampoo that comes with it is only enough for one use. Not sure how much that will do so I've just ordered more shampoo from Bissell. It's 3 for 2 at £8.99 each although Lakeland have it for £5.99 if you have a shop nearby.

Ok, couldn't wait to try it  Shampoo is more than one application. Seems to be doing a goodish job on our creamy/beige stair carpet.

I couldn't resist and I've ordered one, I think it may be another 'Omlet must have' :D

Have you tried it out yet and what do you think of it? I've done more of our stairs and have been impressed. They did get sawdust tramped in them though so I need to do them again

I have tried it, I managed to knock a cup of green tea all over my beige lounge carpet  I was impressed with it's performance, I used it so suck up the spillage first & then shampooed the carpet it removed the all the tea completely, I do have an upright carpet shampooer which I'll use for cleaning the whole room but this is good for spot cleaning although it is a bit bigger than I expected, it will also come in handy for the stairs, upholstery and the car. I do a lot of spot cleaning, we only have one carpet downstairs but the cats always make a beeline for it when the want to be sick :vom:

Thanks for letting me know about it I'm very pleased with it :D

Glad you're pleased with it :) I've done our stairs this afternoon and they look so much better. Colour of the water was revolting. Not done the upholstery yet as need to check the care label to see if it's OK to use.
