Purplemaniacs
Has anyone ever had a chameleon? There is a chance that I may have the opportunity to rehome a one eyed chameleon called George, he has visited school and the children loved him. He belongs to my DD's boyfriend but his circumstances are changing and he is probably going to be unable to keep him. He has various snakes too but I can not offer them a home . I am keen but not said anything to OH yet Anyone have any experience of chameleons. Thanks Chrissie
Couperwife
ive never had one, but Im sure ive seen them in Pets at home, it might be worth popping in there and asking about them - they have little leaflets about all the critters they sell How exciting though cathy x
Ain't Nobody Here
Sounds fun . I wonder if he'll blend in with your curtains or duvet ?
Bramble
Sounds fun . I wonder if he'll blend in with your curtains or duvet ? ... I'd send him back if he doesn't Good luck though, I'd love a chameleon, but think I've got enough 'dependants' at the moment

craftyhunnypie
Presume they eat live crickets & mealworms like other lizards? Mum & dad used to have a bearded dragon & a geko. Used to be watching telly, when a cricket would be singing in a corner & climbing the living room wall. Or there might have been a dropped mealworm. Me & sis used to use the kitchen tongs to feed them, when mum & dad went on holiday! Oh & lizards also eat pinkies - dead baby mice. Just think about all this before you adopt the Chameleon. Purplemaniacs
Don't think I could cope with dead mice (better than living ones though ) I think I could cope with mealworms and crickets, I know DD uses tweezers to feed him and I think I may follow this lead, if I end up with George.
