I hope this is posted in the right section!

My dad wants a night vision camera to go inside our eglu classic. I was hoping someone on here has experience of this and can give advice on what sort of camera to buy and where to put it inside the house etc

I have a camera which was in my Go which also has Night Vision. Its battery powered but also has a mains if you can run mains electricity down to the eglu.

 

I'd probably just tape it inside to the front face of the eglu...

Thanks so much! We've just been to our garden centre to look for a camera, but they don't sell them anymore. We'll get one off eBay probably later

They've come down massively in price since I was looking nearly 2 years ago!

Tempted to get one even though I don't need it at all... best not!

It connects to the wireless network so we can view them from any computer\phone.

Also has night vision and a motion sensor - All I need to do now is work out how to power it from batteries!

 

I'll post a review when I've set it up

Wonder if you could use a solar panel to power it and keep a charge over night?

I just posted on an electronics forum for advice, I think it will be possible, the problem is powering it all night would take a sizable battery and panel! Hopefully it has a power saving mode until the motion sensor activates.
