Alis girls
My family are driving me nuts with various falls etc. I know they dont do it deliberately but first ES,then dad and now OH - who fell on his leg yesterday - nothing broken just can't wt bear and cant drive. Sorry just ranting - went to work at 9am till 3pm, got in at 4pm after picking up YS - cooked dinner and left for work at 5pm - then to pick up son from cubs at 8pm - my bum has not touched a chair till now and I still have 5 pts to see. I am just tired and ratty and hungry - no wonder my digestion system is a mess - OH says he worries about me - feeling sorry for myself - you bet I am
poppy ben grace
Sounds like you need a nice hot bath and a big box of chocolates! You go ahead and have a pity party, it sounds like you deserve it bless your heart!
Goosey Lucy
Try and find a bit of time for yourself - it won't help anyone if you fall apart. Think carefully if (for example) your son has to go to cubs next time, sometimes something else has to give before you do. patsylabrador
I have a friend who sounds similar, I gave her a little book and told her to write down a daily diary of exactly how much time in any given day that she devotes to just herself. She couldn't find the time to do it which shocked her. look after yourself too.
Alis girls
Thanks guys usually its not as bad as this - but its ES's 16th birthday and he wasnt at school cos of strikes and rang me in the middle of a clinic to tell me the chinos we had got him were too big - the reply I gave him was not repeatable I know teens are selfish but he didnt chose the right moment. I knew a ickle rant would help and that Omlet would come up trunks. Am now gonna sit and watch TV and prob nod off.
redhotchick
I am often stuck in meetings over lunch time, or don't find the time to get out to buy a sandwich so I have developed a few tricks to ensure I eat something reasonably healthy and not just grab chocolate and crisps from the machine. I get a Graze Box once a week, it's a handy portion sized snack, dried fruit and nuts, that sort of thing. I sometimes chop up some cucumber, sweet pepper and some cherry tomatoes and pop them into a plastic tub. If you don't have time to chop salad just take a wodge of pepper and cucumber, and pop the tomatoes in. I have a tin of chunky soup on standby, ready to be microwaved. There's a microwave and a fridge in my work place. A packet of Ryvita and some low fat cream cheese keep well and are easy to eat at my desk. Yoghurts are good to have in the fridge in work too. I don't know whether any of these ideas are feasible for you. Take care of yourself x
Alis girls
Needless to say I finished my novel in bed - feel asleep and slept like a log. OH's leg was ok for him to make a morning cuppa and I had said last night (we take it in turns to chuck YS into bed - no easy job as like most 10yr olds he has one excuse after another) he would have to sort YS out as I was knackered. Off today - quick clean round , quick food shop, coffee at Costa with OH and chill before kids get in. Out tonight on Christmas do (all paid for) so today should be better. I love Thursdays.
