Gloss-Hen
Hopefully i will be getting an incubator for christmas and have made a list of what to hatch lemon pekins jersey giant naked neck OEG they are not in any perticular order but i was wondering if anyone has any experience in any of these or could recomend any others
percy049
I think naked necks and old english games are quite difficult to look after. Out of those, I think pekins would be the easiest to hatch and the friendliest
Minty_76
I have an OEG bantam and she is the friendliest chatty little thing! Such a nice nature.
sjp
Naked necks are as easy as any other breed to look after ans as hary as they come My Boris went through last winter when some days he was the only one out in the run all the time no frost bite no coughs or colds I've had no problems with any of the chicks I've hatched this year all be it they are all naked neck cross breeds, Boris is the dad to all but they have differant moms

Mum
I've had OEG and pekins (so, can't comment on the other two). Both breeds are lovely but for egg-laying, it would have to be the pekin over the OEG.
daxigirl
Orpingtons are great but my favs have been the orloffs. Really funny as chicks, have a sort of satelite dish faces (it's the fluff) very curious about stuff, still are now. The crevecoeurs used to zoom about like mexican jumping beans. My 2 oeg (didn't hatch them myself) are both very talkative hence their name.
duchess
Well I would hatch welsummers or light Sussex. Both stunning looking birds that lay well. And you can't beat the deep terracotta colour of the welsummers egg!!!
