Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

ive had my cube for almost a year now. today for the first time when checking on the girls at bed time, to find when trying to slide the lid open it was frozen and wouldnt budge it must be cold today

Wow that is cold, our cube sits in the sunniest spot in the garden so has defrosted through the day.

It was a lovely day today though, I have been out since 10.00am and had a lovely day poo picking, tidying around, putting the go back together for the new arrivals, watching the new arrivals. Did lose the feeling in my feet but it was lovely to see the sun.

Will sleep well tonight I think!

I tried opening mine when it still had snow all over it, not realising the snow made a blockage as it moved along

Still, at least I know now.......ready for any more snow And ready with a broom to sweep any off.
