jackian
After a dreadful day yesterday with my 2 lovely "old girls "making such a fuss about having new neighbours ,They never stopped screaming for 3 hours (they never usually make much noise ) The new girl Jet just was so petrified she would not let me near her . I started today with dread. The old girls poppy and clover came out of their coup screaming just like yesterday but after 10 minutes or so it stopped. Phew! A good job as I had to go to work for the morning . I spent the morniong at work worrying all the time and wondering if i had done the right thing , on a down hill spiral...It was a morning full of what ifs!...I was so concerned I had all sorts of dreadful thoughts I went home from work and all was quiet. They were all in their seperate runs next to each other and not a peep and all doing chickeny things.I let the old girls out to FR and every one was fine all afternoon .They could see each other all the time and not a peck at all. Last night Jet was frantic about me going near her ,tonight I had to put Rose in the coup as she had fallen asleep under a stool (she is very tiny) and Jet trotted off to bed on her own...I see a light...plus I did not look in the nest box this morning ..but tonight after only one day an egg 58 grams ..I see another light . Duncan08
Great news I do hope my intros go so well! My oldies have quietened down a little, except for when I am handing out corn and mealworms. Then they let me know they are there

Millie-Annie
Mine are now all fully integrated. The bed mates have swapped around and everyone is now happy.
