The main problem with avatars is finding one that is small enough - 80 x 80 pixels. If you find a picture you like and save it to Photobucket, you can resize it by clicking on the Resize button - this will give youy a choice of sizes, one of them called Avatar. You can also resize photos in the same way - choose Message Board. This makes them the right size for posting on the forum and they don't 'fall off the side' as some do.
