my cube and chooks

Recommended Posts

Yes they have quite a lot of space, in fact I open the run and they have all the veggie plot at the moment because there is nothing in the garden until spring then it will just be the enclosed area. It's all under cover so they stay dry. I am really pleased with my cube. My Orpington still won't go in at night. I think the ladder is a bit of a challenge for her little leggies. We have put a block so she can have a lift up but still not yet. Perhaps today she will. Just about to come into lay so she will have to get herself sorted. My Faverolle is lazy, if she needs to lay an egg, she just drops it anywhere lol.(orange eglu)

 Should have said that is my Golden Pheasant Male, he is seperate from the chooks. I have one female pheasant but am going to get another pair of females because she looks lonely. The don't need any coop cause they just roost outside in the run. Easy to keep, just pets.
