beckyfitz
Got home from work today to hubby telling me we have an extra hen . My mum found it walking down her road (!) and thought it was one of ours escaped. Hubby brought it home, discovered it wasn;t ours & proceeded to put it in our run!!! (He is not a chicken person) where it was attacked. He then had the sense to shut in one of the hen houses where it is now safe & isolated from my hens, I've no idea where it came from, I don't know anyone else round here who keeps hens, its a greater london suburb. I;ve posted on FB & Twtr, rang two local vets & registered on 'pets located'. I don't know how to go about finding the owner - if I lost a hen I would probably assume its been got by a fox. If anyone lives in the SE London area, Erith & Bexley, please spread the word in case anyone is missing a hen!
Plum
Chicken of fate I'd put up notice in shops and lamposts. Does it have nice headgear and spurs?

markAndCharlene
Maybe this answers the eternal question... why did the chicken cross the road?
