quickcluck
Feeling a tad rundown so thought I'd take something. I don't bother usually as I have a good balenced veggie diet. So any recommendations for a tablet or a tonic? Which would be best? Thanks Kay
Cinnamon
My daughter is veggie & I get her a multi vitamin & oil supplement which is veggie friendly from Tesco, just to make sure she is getting all that she needs. A lot of vitamin supplements seem to be not suitable for veggies,as they contain fish oil or other by products.
Lavenders_Blue
The only veggie supplement I regularly take is veggie omega 3 (Flaxseed Oil capsules and Cerebrum (Algal Oil) capsules, both from Healthspan). I occasionally take veggie multivits (also from Healthspan) when I remember, which is not very often! But I do think the omega 3 is important. Redwing
When I was made redundant and went through a rough patch of illness and stress I took Berocca which I thought did work quite well Not sure if its suitable for veggies though
Tweety
I am vegetarian, and would recommend a liquid tonic called Floradix, which I always take if I am feeling under the weather. It is a vitamin/herbal extract/fruit concentrate tonic and I have found that the Liquid Iron Formula is the one that works for me.
craftyhunnypie
I'm a firm believer that all vitamins & minerals are available in food, not supplements. So I'd recommend some fresh homemade soup, smoothies & juice to boost your immune system. Can't beat fresh fruit & veg - herbs too. quickcluck
I already do the soup and smoothie thing, even wheatgrass when ive the stomach for it So not sure why I'm not right. Am gonna give berroca a try as I have the adverts and its the B & C bits which will boost the important things!
craftyhunnypie
Ahhh poor you. Would having a blood test be a good idea - just to check you are ok? Brandy, that's what you need! You give budgies a weeny bit as a tonic, so it must be good for humans too! Or come & visit me - I'll take you to get some fresh mountain & sea air. Works wonders it does. Well does for me!
