Unsecure chicken perches

My light sussex bantam Ethel is mercilessly feather pecking my other girls leaving them looking very bedraggled.No blood is drawn but they all have bald necks, heads and bums and look horrendous. I let them free range all day, have added extra ramps. perches and hangy things in their WIR, used nettex anti pecking spray but she still keeps doing it.I cannot really seperate her as I don't really have anywhere i can safely keep her, also cannot get a bumper bit that is small enough for her. I have read about Ukadex but heard that it smells seriously repulsive but if its going to do the trick I will get some. Has anyone used it and had good results???

Ukadex is more or less the same as the Nettex one.

 

Strange how small sized bits aren't available any more Have you tried a peck ring on her?

Thanks DM, I think I must be a bit strange cos I quite like the smell of the Nettex one It reminds me of the smell of my Grandads Greenhouse when I was a child. Does the Ukadex smell the same?? Sorry to be dim but what is a peck ring?

They smell very similar.

I must admit that the Ukadex absolutely stinks whereas personally I think the Nettex one isn't as strong.

I have both because I could only get the Nettex from a shop whilst I was waiting for the Ukadex to come in the post.

I aslo stank the next day using the Ukadex whereas using the Nettex I didn't.

 

Maybe different chickens have different tastes and some are more affected by one than the other.
