BeckyBoo
It's amazing how a childs popularity can increase once you get chickens! 8 of them in the back garden today, not including my eldest who was elsewhere at the time! http://s203.photobucket.com/albums/aa182/Mrs_Bertie/?action=view¤t=chickens056.jpg http://s203.photobucket.com/albums/aa182/Mrs_Bertie/?action=view¤t=chickens055.jpg also testing to see if I can do this photo uploading thingy (technophobe) Mrs Bertie

Ziggy
Hi, That's a lovely picture My daughter hasn't had many friends over to see her chickens, but she has brought cakes to school made from the eggs. When children do come to play, they do take an interest in the chooks though. My oldest daughter was disappointed that her friends weren't begging to come and see her pet rats.... till I reminded her of her own reaction when I suggested rats as pets ('NO WAY, Mummy, don't even think about it!!!). Maybe the next birthday party you have with children could be a 'cooking with eggs party'?

Hen Watch
Lovely photos Mrs B. Love the view at the bottom of your garden....I am jealous. When you upload your pictures into photobucket, on the bit that says "max image size", choose the 320x240 size BEFORE you upload them - This makes the picture a good size for this forum. Then, as I'm sure you've ust worked out, once uploaded, in the box below the photo, click into and copy the URL link. Just paste it straight into the post and away you go.
