pavo121
Hi, Over the weekend I had to move the bully out of the run. Feel pretty bad as she doesn't look happy isolated, however the one being pecked is in a bad way, no blood but a lot of missing feathers and red skin. I have tried all sorts of sprays, boredom buster things as well. How long would you guys leave the one in isolation? I think I need to wait until at least the pecked one has a decent cover of feathers? Thanks Pavo
MissPug+Chooks
I have had to do this - then once my 'oven ready' one had some feather back I put her back in and then she got stripped again - I would wait until ALL of her plumage is back so that there are no interesting quills to have a peck at....I really to sympathise as I have been in this position - I ended up rehoming the bully because I couldn't take it anymore...sad but sometimes when it gets that bad its the best thing to do x
kevtheplumber
I did this but it backfired big time, being away made her 10 times worse, I had to get rid of her in the end. She was an absolute nightmare, she acted like a cockerel
