Help, Dolly our White Star has always been a good layer. She had started to lay shell-less eggs about 4 weeks ago, she then laid what I no know is a lash. We upped her calcium with some oyster shell. Since then the other girls have laid very hard shelled eggs but we have had nothing from Dolly.

This morning she was sitting on the nest and we thought the egg was eventually coming but on closer inspection it looked like her innards were falling out. Her bottom was pulsing and white liquid poo was coming out of her vent. She is now at the vets, as we were not confident to start pushing fingers up vents. Can anyone tell me if I've done anything wrong?
