Creative15
Hey everyone So my bantam pekin is broody and we decided to allow her to hatch some eggs out. We have thought of the possibility of them being males and we have a friend on a farm willing to take them off our hands if they are not what we expected. I take her off her eggs each moring to eat, drink and allow her to do her huge poop and then she lets me know when she wants to go back in. She is in a rabbit hutch at the moment away from her sisters but she can still see them Its been eight days since she has been incubating them and I was going to check them out tonight to see whether her hard work is paying off and was just wondering whether I should wait a bit longer? hennyjenny
8 days is fine but I candle mine at 10 days now, it is easier to see development especially if they are not white eggs. Good luck with your hatching.
