TAJ
I have just discovered this is now under new management - anyone know why and what the quality is like now? It had looked a bit run down over recent years, but always had a good shop stock and cheap feed. Tracy http://www.domesticfowltrust.co.uk/products/visitor-information.html UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT All Things Rural Ltd are pleased to confirm their recent purchase of The Domestic Fowl Trust at Honeybourne. quickcluck
We went there over easter and discovered it was under new management....... They had no livestock for sale there. But they have moved the pens from inside to outside and they are alot bigger which can't be a bad thing. There were different people in there, but I found the later pretty irritating. We couldn't buy any wormer as they dont have their licence yet, and didn't know when they would..... So the inside stock was quite scarce. TAJ
I just looked up the owners (all things rural Ltd) and they seem to have previously sold feed across lots of animals, but be breeders of alpacas and goats - I wonder if the 'attraction' side is going to diveisify from mainly chickens? The Dogmother
Interesting - it can only be good news I think. They always used to have a big stall at the poultry shows - wonder if they will still do that?
