pixiewish
Has anyone got one, had it for a while and think that these are good.
jackian
I have not got one but have seen one..I would be interested in one next time I buy a coup as I only have a wooden coup and I like the old fashioned shape..
heth1986
I have one! I love it, so easy to take apart and clean, no corners for red mite to hide in, looks great, nice and traditional, no leaks even in this awful weather, I wouldn't change it for the world now. it's just a shame they don't make an attachable run, we've had to make a wooden one but will have a WIR soon hopefully
superkitty
Wow that's beautiful! I've just been having a look.....interesting! I'd have to put in inside the WIR so it'd take up too much floor space....but I wonder...maybe I could raise it on a table or something. Do you find it good to clean Heth1986? (e.g. Can you disassemble it and hose it down in 5 minutes like the eglu Classic, or does it take longer?)
pixiewish
Is that the pugley size? do you find it ok for however many chooks you have? thanks
Redwing
The Pugley is absolutely tiny, I would only put two of my smallest bantams in one
Egluntyne
A friend of mine had one. It was very pretty, but difficult to clean. She upgraded to a Cube.

Redwing
A nice small budget plastic house is the Solway Mini I have two of the small wooden houses from Everything Poultry and they are good, they dont have a nestbox but the chickens lay their eggs in one corner with no problems, for a budget option they are a good choice Whatever you dont dont be seduced by the very thin walled imported coops, they almost fall apart as you assemble them and are such a false economy
Egluntyne
A nice small budget plastic house is the Solway Mini I agree. I have one and it is very useful.
heth1986
Do you find it good to clean Heth1986? (e.g. Can you disassemble it and hose it down in 5 minutes like the eglu Classic, or does it take longer?) Yes, it all slots together with no screws or nails so you can take it all apart and hose down quite easily. I must say that it took me a little while to figure out how to put it back together the first couple of times but I've got the knack now! Is that the pugley size? do you find it ok for however many chooks you have? Yes it is, I have 3 small hybrids in mine with no problems BUT my girls are FR the majority of the day and have other sheltered areas to hang around in the rain, only go in there to sleep and lay and somehow all manage to fit into one nesting box to sleep at night?! For me and my girls it's perfect, I think they're a super idea and very handy for the back yard hen keeper. If I were ever planning to increase my flock then i'd have to replan. Hope that helps! pixiewish
Redwing - just had a look at the solway mini, looks a good price, but I get the impression it might be harder to clean?
